Bayt Yaish

Bayt Yaish is a historic building in Amman’s culturally vibrant neighborhood of Jabal Alweibdeh; and is home to Petra National Trust. This magnificent building was built in 1952 by Hajj Badie’ Yaish, and continues to be owned by the family.

PNT entered into a unique and generous partnership with the Yaish family to develop Bayt Yaish into a cultural hub to fulfill a new and expanded vision for heritage and culture in the heart of Amman. Bayt Yaish houses many cultural activities and heritage educational programs run by PNT.

Bayt Yaish was the first preservation project of modern heritage in Amman conducted by PNT.
