The National Heritage Trust (PNT) Petra National Trust is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1989 as Jordan’s first dedicated organization for cultural heritage conservation. When first established, PNT focused on the UNESCO World Heritage site of Petra. Three decades later, PNT has become a center of excellence in cultural heritage protection, working across heritage conservation and restoration, community engagement, climate resilience, research, and policy advocacy at local, regional, and international levels. PNT’s President and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador HRH Princess Dana Firas leads its key advocacy efforts and oversees the implementation of PNT’s mission and the fulfillment of its vision.
