What We Do
Petra National Trust contributes to community development and well-being of its members. We help to promote socio-economic development in areas surrounding cultural heritage sites. Cultural heritage is a foundation for a thriving local economy, and PNT helps achieve this through socio-economic development projects that are based on cultural heritage values. PNT prioritizes women and youth development initiatives in areas surrounding cultural heritage sites and has executed several successful projects.
What We Do
Petra National Trust is involved at various levels to improve outreach and understanding of the importance of cultural heritage in development. It is active in several policy making bodies and advices national and international institutions on the role of heritage in sustainable development and on best practices in cultural heritage management.
